Employment - Project Manager / Video Editor
About the position: The Project Manager is the eye-in-the-sky at Arts Laureate, overseeing the process and completion of all Arts Laureate projects, as well as performing daily administrative tasks. The project manager will manage deadlines, coordinate engineers, maintain the calendar, communicate with clients, send invoices, receive payments, process disc orders, and upload/mail/deliver files. The project manager will also edit video and author DVDs (training provided). The Project Manager will have the opportunity to grow their position and shape the image, processes, and direction of the company. The project manager can work remotely (mostly), but will need to regularly process mail, media, files, etc.
About the company: Arts Laureate is a media production team and record label focusing on live and session recordings. Projects include audio, video, photos, and social media for clients ranging from top-tier professional ensembles to community bands, orchestras, and choirs, as well as opera companies, independent artists, schools, and students. Arts Laureate is directed by Christian Amonson, who also serves as recording engineer for the Marine Band. Arts Laureate is based in the mid-atlantic region and produces recordings throughout the U.S.
The ideal candidate will be organized, communicative, and have an interest in classical music. The ideal candidate is someone who can get-things-done without supervision. We are looking for someone who is excited by what Arts Laureate does and is interested in growing their position, responsibilities, and salary, and building a life in the arts.
Starting salary: $15 an hour, 20hrs/wk minimum, with goal of full-time
