About the company: Arts Laureate is a media production team and record label focusing on live and session recordings for clients ranging from top-tier professional ensembles to community bands, orchestras, and choirs, as well as opera companies, independent artists, schools, and students. Services include audio recording, video production, photography, streaming, and social media. Arts Laureate is directed by Christian Amonson, who also serves as recording engineer for the Marine Band. Arts Laureate is based in the mid-atlantic region and produces recordings throughout the U.S.
About the position: The Office Manager will be responsible for administering day-to-day processes at Arts Laureate. Responsibilities include maintaining the calendar, sending invoices, processing payments, retrieving and processing mail (including CD/DVD orders), paying royalties, maintaining the asset list, insurance, and other accounts, updating clients, communicating with engineers, and tracking time and expenses. The Office Manager will have the opportunity to grow their position and shape the image, processes, and direction of the company. The Office Manager will work closely with the Manager.
The ideal candidate will be organized, communicative, and have an interest in arts administration and the performing arts. The ideal candidate is someone who can get-things-done without supervision. We are looking for someone who is excited by what Arts Laureate does and is interested in growing their position, responsibilities, and salary, and building a life in the arts.
Starting salary: $15 an hour, 20hrs/wk minimum, with goal of full-time.
